We are accepting on-line submissions only. Below are a few things to know before you start your application:
- To view application questions before completing the on-line form, click here. This is NOT the actual application. Please see below for the application link
- Saving applications: When you use the same computer during your application process, the application should save automatically in your web browser. Click the [NEXT] button on a page or the [DONE] button at the end of the application to save the page(s) of answers. You will be able to edit responses in the application until you hit the [DONE] button on the last page of the application. (Note: Your browser must be enabled to accept cookies. Visit the preferences section of your preferred web browser to make sure your browser will accept cookies. If you prefer not to enable cookies, you will be unable to return to and finish an uncompleted application.) To guarantee application responses are not lost, we encourage applicants to either complete the online form in one sitting or save save longer essay responses in a separate document that can be retrieved separately.
- Printing applications: If you would like to save a copy of your application, you will need to print each page of the form as you progress using your web browser’s printing options. Before clicking the [Next] and [Done] buttons, use your web browser’s printing options to print the current page of answers.

All applicants from the spring 2013 grant offering will be notified by early June whether they have received a grant or not. If a notification email is not received by this date, please contact Melissa Adams at madams@kab.org or 202-688-0604. If you are selected as a bin grant recipient, a KAB representative will follow up with a personalized message to discuss and confirm your bin order, as well as timing for delivery. Please ensure that your contact information is accurate and up to date.
